A dog in the home:
A new puppy?
Perhaps this is your first puppy, perhaps it's a long time since you last had one.
Or a more mature, rescued dog?
And you're wondering how he or she can become part of your family.
That's where we can help.
Our aim at Spring Park Dog Training School is to teach families how to have a well-mannered pet, so that all the family and friends of the family welcome the newcomer into their midst. Visitors can come to your home without fear of being attacked, jumped on, chewed, licked and all the other things that can make a misery of a visit. And you can relax when people come, because you know that your dog is well-behaved.
We have a five-week Newcomers Course which shows you how to train your dog, including:
- coming to you when called
- having good food manners
- walking calmly to heel
- allowing you through the door first, rather than barging you out of the way!
We will also teach you how to give your dog a healthcheck, how to groom and how to teach your dog to look for you when off lead. At the end of the Newcomers course, you will be well on the way to having a loving and obedient pet who will be a pleasure to live with.
£50 for the Newcomers Course. Subsequent classes are just £2.00 per week.
If you're interested in joining, or would like to come and see what we do, please fill in the email form on the 'Contact Us' page. You are more than welcome to come along a week or two before the next Newcomers course to chat, or to join up and socialise with others who may be visiting.
Where and when?
Monday evenings between 7:30 and 10:00 pm (excluding August and Bank Holidays) at Greystones Scout Hall, West Wickham (see below for full address and map). The start date of the next Newcomers Course is on the 'Contact Us' page.
